6/4 Prehistory Museum, Price, UT

Price is a small town just east of Helper, where I spent a couple of nights resting.  I spent a couple of hours here and enjoyed the displays.  It is part of the University of Utah State Eastern.  I was lucky to be able to park in the shade of this big sign!!

One side of the museum had dinosaurs and their kin.

This is a working museum so the next two photos show the lab where they prepare specimens.

The other side of the building had ice age animals on display.

The most common ancient peoples in this area were the Fremont.
