7/18 Pacific Beach, WA

This is one of my favorite beaches on the west coast because it is so huge.  It is also relatively isolate, with only a tiny town and almost no shops.  If you come here, bring everything you need with you because it is a  long drive, at least 12 very curvy miles, to a town with a decent grocery store.


The first photo shows the river that empties into the ocean here.  Rest of pictures below are pretty self-explanatory. 




Great kite flying area!  No kite-eating trees and lots of steady wind.  Also, a bit chilly, but the view makes up for that.
