Any little opening like plumbing, etc they can squeeze thru. Another problem are the varmints who love to chew on your wiring. Many people put a string of rope lights under the engine. Don't know if this is valid but we never lost wiring. The pack rats will move everything around to suit their decorating taste. We found lotsa strange items in the under bed storage compartment.
