I have been in state parks...This one was very nice. I have been in state parks where sites are closer, but usually the worst are commercial campgrounds just about anywhere. I've actually been checking out campsites on Google maps to see how much space you have. GC North Rim, regional parks around Phoenix, and even Bryce were nice. New campground in Myakka in Florida was also nice.
